In this step, you check whether the manifold is adjusted so that the water from the floor heating/cooling flows as much as possible along the heat exchanger, where it is cooled by Eneco’s cooling water.
On the side of the upper bar of the manifold there is an adjustment screw, on the same side as the pump. The left photo shows the position of the screw at maximum recirculation, and the right photo shows the position at minimum recirculation. If you cannot see it clearly with the naked eye, try taking a photo with your phone.
Does yours look like the “minimum recirculation” photo, with the inner adjustment screw fully turned inward?
Yes → Everything appears to be set correctly and the cooling should work. The last thing you can check is this: check performance of the heat exchanger
No → Use a 4 mm Allen key to turn the adjustment screw clockwise all the way in, and then turn it back one full turn. If the screw is difficult to reach because of how the manifold or cabinet is installed, try using a 4 mm bit and a pair of pliers. If that also doesn’t work, you will likely need an installer.
